The Parents' Association are currently recruiting for members.
The Parents Association has been in operation in Pullough since 2001 and while parents of all pupils are effectively members, not all members parents need to be involved in the day to day activities of the Parents Association.
The basic tasks of the PA set out in the Education Act of 1998:
To advise Principal /Board of Management on matters relating to the school.
To adopt a programme of activities which will promote the involvement of Parents in the operation of the school, in consultation with the Principal.
The PA works with the Principal, Staff and BOM to build effective cooperation and partnership between school and home.Â
The PA organise fundraising events for the school e.g. Raffle at Christmas Concert, 5km run/walk etc
The PA organise and run annual school events such as Breakfast Morning (For Childline) and Communion Party which are both held in the school hall.
Other Activities that the PA organise include, Road Safety, Maths for Fun and Story Sacks.
